I'm an Ayurvedic Medicine Practitioner having trained in Australia for 3 years with master Ashtavaidyan A.N. Narayanan Nambi MD (Ayu) Kerala India, and I'm grateful for the guidance of all my teachers from various fields - with particular thanks to Amadea Morningstar, Ray Noronha, Dr Vishnu Pillai and Dr Bosco Paul. I've been to India, speak Hindi, although a bit rough in spots, and can read and write Devanagri - the same script as Sanskrit. I've benefited from immersion into many Asian cultures and traditions over the years, having lived in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
With a caring modern Ayurvedic approach over 10 years I've helped people from as young 2 years of age to 91 years with a broad range of health conditions from acne to Parkinson's disease, and I'm constantly impressed by the human body's ability to heal.
I'm over 50 and have been a Yoga student for more than 30 years. I experienced food as medicine and the joys of the kitchen pharmacy living in Asia for 7 years with my young family. Since 2001 I have co-authored a cook book (out of print sorry, we've shared some recipes on our Blog page for you), held workshops in Ayurvedic Theory, Cooking and Massage, completed extra training in Health Coaching, Aged Care, and Myofascial Release, consulted and cooked for commercial kitchens and events and established two health clinics in Australia. In 2018 I wrote BOLD Freedom, a guide book to find more time in your life while upgrading your health simultaneously.
